FAUNO Project

FAUNO. AERONAUTICAL TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM

FAUNO's main objective is to improve the competitiveness and sustainability of Out-of-Autoclave (OoA) processes for manufacturing aeronautical components based on composite materials as an alternative to autoclave manufacturing. To achieve this, FAUNO proposes the development of a new generation of multi-material, multifunctional, and self-heating molds and tools. These will be produced using Multimaterial and Multifunctional Additive Manufacturing (MFAM) technology, based on automated and robotic multi-stage additive manufacturing processes using both pellets (Fused Pellet Fabrication - FPF) and filaments (Fused Filament Fabrication - FFF).

Project subsidized by the CDTI with the support of the Ministry of Science and Innovation.
